Treworder Mill nestles just behind Truro, close to the Royal Cornwall Hospital at Treliske. It is ideally situated to explore Cornwall; from the beaches of the North Cornwall
coast to the more tranquil Fal estuary in the South.
We are perfectly located to visit
Cornwall's most popular attractions from the Eden Project, the Lizard, Lands End, across to the lovely town of
St Ives, or Padstow, or the numerous tiny fishing villages. There is something
for everyone here in Cornwall, fun, adventure, peace and relaxation.
Beaches
There are over 150 named beaches here in Cornwall many are just a short car journey from us: Perranporth, Porthtowan,
St Agnes, Carne, Crantock and Fistral Bay to mention a few.
Truro
Only a few minutes away. This lovely cathedral city is a popular
tourist attaction, with the Royal Cornwall Museum, Hall for Cornwall,
cinema and numerous shops and restaurants.
Falmouth
Falmouth is Cornwall's leading South Coast resort and home to the
County's maritime heritage with the award-winning National Maritime
Museum Cornwall as its latest landmark. Really worth a visit.
Sport
Many of the beaches offer great surfing, including lessons and hire of
boards and wetsuits. The famous Fistral Bay is easily reachable. Bissoe Cycle Hire is popular and provides
a route along the old tram lines right across Cornwall from North to South coast.
There is also plenty of sailing and watersports at Mylor Harbour or at Stithian's Lake.
Restaurants
Cornwall prides itself on its fresh local produce and its restaurants
glory in presenting great food. There are plenty of restuarants to
visit, from the Pandora Inn near Mylor Harbour to Rick Stein's famous fishfood restaurant in Padstow.
Attractions
We are very convenient for many famous homes and gardens, including the National Trust properties at Trelissick and Trebar, and of course the Eden
Project in only 40 minutes away. There is much to keep the children happy too - a day at Flambards Theme Park is a must for all the family.
Don't forget Cornwall's mining heritage - there is much to see at the old tin mining sites such as at Geevor.
We hold a good selection of maps and tourist information.
